Doctor Cosultation

At Shiva Hospital the OPD Services commence at 9 am and you can consult specialist doctors in the fields of Medicine, ENT, Surgery, Gynecology and Orthopedics till 2 pm. Doctor Consultation can also be taken in the evening from 5 to 7 pm. Superspecialist doctors in the fields of Neurosurgry and Urology are available for consultation between 11 am and 1 pm from Monday to Saturday. The consultation fee is valid for one followup visit within 3 days.

Diagnostics

After consulting the doctors at Shiva Hospital you might be required to undergo some diagnostic tests. All diagnostic facilities like ECG, X-Ray, Ultrasound, CT Scan, MRI, TMT, Blood and Urine Tests are available within the hospital. You will not have to go to diagnostic centres and then come back to show the reports. All our diagnostic machines and the doctor OPD chambers are connected through PAX which means that as soon as the test is done, the images can be seen by the doctor in the OPD chamber itself. You do not have to carry the reports to the doctor's room. Your treatment can commence immediately without wasting any time.

OPD Procedures

There are many procedures which can be done in OPD in the procedure room without getting admitted to the hospital. Patients having bony fractures and requiring POP cast can get it done in the OPD. IUCD insertion and removal, injection administration, sutures removal, Ultrasound and CT guided FNAC, IV Fluid administration are some of the most common OPD procedures. Many types of biopsies and lipoma removal can also be done in the procedure room. Shiva hospital has a minor Operation Theatre in the Emergency room to carry out small surgeries without admitting the patient to the hospital.
